Yaakov Loew, LPC

Licensed Professional Counselor Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychotherapy

Yaakov is a Licensed Professional Counselor who received his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Roosevelt University. Yaakov has experience working in both hospital and outpatient settings and enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults. Yaakov utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy in treating his clients. Yaakov's specialties include anxiety and mood disorders, behavioral concerns, substance abuse, as well as trauma, and PTSD.  

After completing his Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Yaakov resided in Israel where he served in the Israeli Military for two years, completing his service as a sergeant.  Yaakov’s experiences from the military, inpatient mental health settings, and outpatient substance abuse programs help guide his therapeutic approach to best support his clients. In his free time, Yaakov enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys and, unfortunately, following Chicago sports teams.
